We have a property in Indian Harbour and our home is 60' from the ocean and we have 400' of beach facing onto St.Margaret's Bay/Atlantic Ocean which is very exposed to the elements. As we are new to NS I would appreciate any help I can get regarding trees that would be suitable for this exposed area to form a windbreak. Also a good source for these trees. I understand there is a NS lady who has written books on gardening in NS and would appreciate it if anyone can give me the names of these books and the author. We will be arriving in NS in May of this year and would like to plant the trees this summer. Thank you.
